I cannot wait

I was hoping that my money would have come today...but it looks like it won't be here until Monday. :( Boo on them.

I've been working on a design for a welcome banner for my church's Family Sunday services. I made this mock up in Publisher quickly at lunch today.

The idea is that it will be made out of felt and the hands are hands of congregation members that I traced last week. It'll be lots of bright colours.

What does everyone think? It will involve a lot of sewing! I think I am going to go visit my Grandma.

We also have tickets to Star Trek for tonight! I'm soooooo excited!

Weeeee!!!! I'm officially revealing my nerdiness here. I cannot wait for this.

edited to add: This post is quite fitting for today. I heard on the radio this morning that Majel Barrett has passed away. Majel was Gene Roddenberry's wife and the voice of all Federation Computers on Star Trek and Lwuxanna Troi on TNG. Rest in Peace Majel.

what a fucking awesome movie!

as you can see from the ticker on the right....we have not gone into the overdraft in 14 days! this is awesome for us. it has seriously been years since we've stayed in the black. i'm so proud of us right now. i'm beaming. & steve gets paid tomorrow so unless the daycare fees cheque and the house insurance both get withdrawn before midnight tonight we should totally still be good to go!
