We watch most of our TV as whole seasons. So far we've watched a ton of stuff. What should we watch next? We don't like shows that are canceled after 1 or 2 seasons and hubby is British so he loves to watch British shows too.
some of the stuff we've watched:
firefly
buffy
angel
er (all 15 seasons)
third watch
sopranos
house
joan of arcadia
northern exposure
life on mars
4400
burn notice
southland
that 70s show
the F word
lost
supernatural
star trek: voyager
outnumbered
dexter (half of season 1--didn't like it all that much)
rome (same thing)
We're just about done watching all of Voyager and I've started to download Star Trek TNG, but we are definitely open to suggestions.

Does anyone else watch the Dragons Den on CBC? Dragons Den is a Canadian show that has 5 successful businesspeople that entertain pitches from struggling entrepreneurs needing money to start up or continue or expand their business. If the Dragons like what they see and hear they will put their own money up for a share in the business.
Me and S really like this show. Conveniently CBC Newsworld runs repeats of the show at 8 AM on Saturday mornings (the one morning we have to ourselves because Andrew has usually spent the night at Grandma and Grandpas the night before). I find myself waking up at 8 AM just so I can watch it. :P (Although, the last 2 weeks it has not been on and it's made me sad. Very sad)
I am absolutely fascinated and enamored with the lone female Dragon, Arlene Dickinson. This is what the CBC website says about her business savvy, "Early in her marketing career, Arlene Dickinson skillfully turned the glass ceiling into a floor. Today, she is one of Canada's most renowned independent marketing communications entrepreneurs, having grown her company, Venture Communications, into a strategic and creative powerhouse for a blue-chip client list, including Western Canada Lotteries, Toyota (Prairies), Unilever, Encana and Forzani Group Ltd." She is so well spoken and has such a presence!
I love the CBC.
PS. S has found a torrent for a Dragons Den UK. We're downloading it right now. I'm quite excited.
I have 15 minutes before I have to leave to go back to work...again. Working from 7 PM to 10 PM (ish) really makes you dislike Tuesday nights.
I don't have much to report. Things have seemed very busy these past few days...busy watching Angel. *Carrie is Terribly Ashamed* We're halfway through Season 5 (the last season) and I'm totally engrossed in this show. I. Can't. Stop. Watching. It.
Steve has a job interview on Friday! If anyone has any tips or ideas or questions he should ask then post away!
I'm horribly excited b/c my good internet friend Anne is coming into town this week. We've got multiple events planned and I need it! It is so good to get out and do stuff.
Well...I've got to leave in 7 minutes. I guess I should go and get ready and find my pants to put on.
Cheers! Check y'all later

Since Christmas we've been watching Buffy and Angel. Watching a TV series as a whole is much more interesting then watching episodes week to week with the possiblity of missing one or two or most of the episodes. You really become involved with the characters and the plots. They almost seem to become your friends. Hah!
We're on Season 3 of Angel now and I just want to say...Lorne is my all time favourite Joss Whedon character. At first I really liked Xander. & then Anya. But then I met The Host. His greatness towers over Xander and Anya (although they are definitely in my Top Five Joss Whedon characters).
He is the host with the most. He's honest, he's funny, he's astute, he's hard to kill, he likes karoake, he's green, he's chicken, he's sweet, he's got horns. What more could a girl want? What more could anyone want?
The episodes that take place on his home world, Pylea, are so far my favorites. "Do the dance of shame!" Hah. Incapacitating people with his wondrous voice. Awesome. Averting death b/c his head can be reattached to his body. Priceless.
I sure do hope that Lorne stays in the show and that his character gets awesomer and awesomer. :)
PS. My Top Five Joss Whedon Characters would go like this:
1. Lorne
2. Anya
3. Xander
4. Malcolm (from Firefly)
5. Glory (although I realize you're not supposed to like her, but she was trying to do in Michelle Trachtenberg--who very nearly wrecked the show for me).
Cheers!
