so today i was down 1.8 pounds making my official weight watcher weight 240.2. i am happy that i had a loss this week...2 weeks of gaining and maintaining was beginning to suck.

i keep having this feeling that weight watchers isn't cutting it for me anymore. like i want to try something new, something different, something exciting, something cheaper. mainly something cheaper. here we are trying to save money and live more frugally and in five weeks i'm going to need to shell out more money for this endeavour...i just feel like i can't justify it. i could gather some of my friends that are doing various weight loss things and we could all buy a good scaled and go by what it says at a weekly meeting, right? i just don't want to keep throwing my money at the big fat ww conglomerate. sigh. le big sigh.

i've been fairly deliquent on commenting on everybody's blogs. i was kind of sick this week and with easter on the weekend i've just been a busy, busy bee. i do read them though and i'm glad everyone is doing so good. you girls rock!

congrats on your loss! Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do and find what motivates and works for you.

seems we've all been saying the same thing but in different ways - want to try something new, something different, something exciting... i've been doing a variation of WW for almost a year and not once have i stepped into a room and paid... yes, i've been there years ago but i figured w/all the support out there now, esp. online, i could do okay on my own... yea, i may be missing out on the group discussions but really - we can find anything online these days and its F R E E! congrats on the loss! :o)

Don't think of it as a waste of money. Think of it as a savings account for your future :) Every time you go, you are contributing to your own personal life saving account and saving your own life. hehe Sounds pretty good huh ;) I do understand how you feel though. Why don't you try start your own little weight loss group for a while. Get yourself an accurate scale and see how it goes. You have all the info and you have the internet at your fingertips. I'd join your club! well done on the loss!

Congratulations on the loss!!!

As for the money and meetings, I myself can't justify the money either and just recently even cancelled my online membership. Whatever works for you!
