As anticipated I was up. I was up 1 pound. So was my friend.
I totally get why I was up. I didn't journal. I didn't watch my potions. I ate out a lot.
In the grand scheme of things this is how it has gone for use and CWLE: 2.8 pounds of weight loss for me & 3.8 pounds for my friend. It seems like such a small amount for such a long time.
I've been feeling really 'out there' on the internet this past week. There's been a big flooding mess at my school and we've been having furniture problems and for some reason posting about them on my message boards has made me....uncomfortable...although that's so not the right word?
I've found a Winnipeg Forum which is even weirder b/c now I'm worried that these people are parents of our kids or relatives to the damn futon guy, etc...and that my little internet bubble is going to be broken?
Anyways on the weight loss front....
I'm going to say I'm gaining this week. This is based on the following:
Tuesday I ate about 9 cookies and a cinnamon bun when I was at my inservice.
This was followed by Thai food for lunch (it was soooo damn yummy)
Followed by a huge assed frittata for supper.
Wednesday I ate a whole bag of pretzels.
Thursday I had McDonalds for lunch b/c....well I'm not really sure why I had McDonalds. I just did.
Friday I went to Carlos and Murphys for lunch and then we went for Ribs for Supper b/c it was my Dad's and Grandpas birthdays.
& now today (Saturday) is a bithday party where there will be yummy treats I'm sure and then supper tonight with a friend.
Couple that eating with zero exercise and that scale is going to be movin' on up.
This week I maitained. Bah.
The first time I stepped on the scale It said one pound heavier then last week. I was wearing a big heavy hoodie and quickly took it off and weighed myself again. Then it said 256.2. I'm going with the lower weight.
I can really tell that I didn't exercise this week. This week my one goal is to exercise 3 times for at least 20 minutes.
Last night I went to a social. It was my cousins social. Did I want to go? Not really. Did my family want to go? Not really. Did anybody really want to go? Probably not. Did everyone get really drunk and end up dancing to cheezy music (Ice Ice Baby & save a horse Ride a Cowboy)? Pretty much.
I drank too much and ate too much of the crappy lunch they serve (bread and sandwich meat--which actually looked like pseudo meat--pickles and chicken fingers) and ate way too much of the chips and pretzels they had on the table. Boo on me.
Apparently I forgot to post this...I wrote it days ago...
This is what I've decided on.

I'm still looking for ideas for rewards so if anybody knows of any good ones let me know.
Damn, this is harder then it looks. I'm pretty much an open book so thinking of things that nobody knows about are tough.
1. I have a half sister. She lives in Kenora and I first found about her when I was 19. She is married and has 3 kids. She's also Mennonite--Strict Mennonite (no smoking, no drinking, no swearing, no dancing, no fun). I have nothing in common with her, her husband or any of her 3 children. We spend every major holiday together and secretly I call them "The Mennonites" and drink heavily after their holiday visits.
2. My favorite alcholohic drink is Miller Genuine Draft and Clamato Juice.
3. I have a stuffed animal that I still sleep with when I'm sick. He's Pink Dog and I've had him since birth. He's my friend. :P
4. I had my rebellious stage when I was 25. It was great fun to do it when a) I could afford to drink and party and b) was old enough to enjoy it.
5. It's my cousins social on Friday and I don't want to go.
I can't think of 5 people to tag, so I'm ending the game here. I suck big time and you can give me a hard time--I can take it.
Fifteen and a half points. 15.5.
That's what a Sausage n Egger from A&W are. That combined with the Hashbrown I also had were 19.5 points. Ugh. How gross is that?
I ate over half my points in 5 minutes. Double ugh.
I felt sick all day and then felt disgustingly & horribly sick all afternoon. So much so that I left work early and came home.

aaah...the beauty of hummus.
3 tablespoons for 2 points. Mmmmmmm. We had roasted garlic hummus with Canapes for supper tonight (7 canapes for 1 point).
It was super de duper yummy. I figure I probably ate about 14 points worth of hu
On the non-food side of life we bought a futon today. Our couch is on it's last leg, and Steve's parents are going to need something to sleep on when they're visiting so we thought a futon would be the best option. We picked the one in the picture.
mmus and canapes.
We picked this futon with a nice deep purple print called Anjou as the cover. We're picking up the frame tomorrow and the cover should here in a week. I'm tres excited.
Just a few noteworthy things this week.
1. I journalled. I wrote down what I ate. I didn't stay in my points one day this week, but I wrote down what I ate.
2. I tried to exercise. I used the treadmill twice. Right at the end of my last workout the treadmill went into uber fast mode and I almost fell on my face. I was able to pull out the safety magnent thingy and it stopped. Now it says E1 and won't work. my Dad is going to take a look at it next week sometime. I hope he can fix it, it was a good freebie.
In the meantime I'm going to have to do some other exercise. I've my WATP and Biggest Loser DVDs that I haven't done in ages. I better dig them up.
3. Today we went to Mongo's. www.mongosgrill.com
It's a fun and yummy place once you get a few combinations down. The only problem is it's not very baby friendly b/c you have to go up and get your food and watch it being cooked which invariably means we eat in shifts. It's not bad if you go with a group or another couple, but kinda lame if it's just me and Steve.
My favorite combination is: mushrooms, a few pieces of zuchinni, a bit of carrot, bean sprouts, pineapple, a pile of chicken & beef (it's sliced sooooo thin), some fat noodles, sweet chili thai sauce, spicy peanut sauce, a bit of sesame oil and soya sauce. Yum, yum. 2 bowls of that and I'm stuffed.
4. I haven't had fries in 3 weeks, since we first weighed in. It feels good. I don't even miss them.
5. I'm working on my rewards list. I'm going to post it tomorrow.
