This looks very interesting. I might give it a whirl when the ILs leave. Although, I am worried about a) releasing toxins into the air by melting them and b) creating more waste by only using part of another bag for the buckles, straps, etc.

Anyone know about the plastic issue? Anyone know of any ideas on how to us the rest of a bag? If I made shopping store bags ala superstore cloth bags then you don't need buckles?
