This song takes me back to latter half of 2003.

Living on Lipton Street in the West End with Erin. The neighborhood had definite ghetto tendencies and instead of crying we would laugh and sing this song. It kept us sane as the neighbor dealt drugs out of his back door, the neighbor on the other side had 6 dogs that barked all through the day and all through the night, and the ghetto insulation that I created for the back door.

"On a cold and gray Chicago mornin'/A poor little baby child is born/In the ghetto/
And his mama cries/'cause if there's one thing that she don't need/it's another hungry mouth to feed/In the ghetto"
